National Painting Competition
The National Painting Competition was started by ICCW in 1981 with the dual objective of creating in children aesthetics and heighten consciousness on harmony and beauty
The Competition is conducted for normal and differently abled children at
the State level in two categories. Normal children
(5-9 years & 10-16 years)
Two groups of the differently abled children-
Yellow Group (5-10 years) and Red Group (11-18 years)
further sub-divided into specific sub-groups for cerebal palsy/
multiple disability/mentally challenged, visually impaired and
speech/hearing impaired children.
The Competition is conducted by the State/Union Territory Councils
of ICCW all over the country.
The best five prize winning entries in each group/sub-group are sent to
ICCW for the final selection.
